Many of you may have see ACEO's available from many artists either online or at local craft shows.
First of all what is an ACEO? ACEO stands for ART Card Editions and Originals. Basically it is a trading card created by an artist. These either feature original art or limited edition prints of art.
Why are they so popular? They are and inexpensive way for art lovers to collect original works of art or prints. Sometimes you can find a great little piece available from an artist for mere dollars instead of the several hundred you may spend on a full size work of art. They are also fun and easy too collect. You can keep them on binders in trading card sheets or in individual trading card sleeves.
There are also many fun ways to display your ACEO. You can buy little easels to set them on and display them on you desk r a mantel, or even get cute little frames to hang your entire collection individually or get a large frame to place them all in side by side to make something of a "quilt" of Art Trading cards.
How every you choose to display or store them these cute little pieces of art are a great way to collect and even make great preasents or stocking stuffers for the holidays.
